Reflections: A Digital Memory Workshop is a 4-hour workshop co-presented with A.MAZE Festival and facilitated by Chloé Lee, creator of Temporal World (SXSW 2023), one of this year's A.MAZE nominated projects. In the workshop, she shares her creative process, guiding groups and individuals to reflect on their communities through writing exercises, interviews and experimentation with AI image generation. The workshop is for anyone, people of all skill levels, backgrounds and ages. Starting with our personal images, audio or material we will reflect on what community means to each of us. And by the end of the day, our creations will be installed and shown in a 3D interactive virtual gallery built with Unity, that we create together. The gallery showcases the work and ideas created by the mix of people who come for this one-day event. This workshop is part of an evolving process-oriented virtual reality project, Inter(mediate) Spaces, in which the workshops seek to empower the public through education and experimentation with new tools.
The event will be facilitated in English.
